Christmas Questions Answered

Here's our answers to the Christmas questions we asked as extra entries in our Christmas giveaway: Check out yesterday's post to enter!

What's your favorite Christmas song?
Suz: I'll Be Home For Christmas
Allan: Frosty the Snowman (because he was a very happy soul says Allan)

Are you done with your Christmas shopping?
Suz: I shop year round and I'm almost always through by October
Allan: No...

What's the best Christmas gift you've ever received?
Suz: LUCKY!!! Allan gave him to me for Birthday/Christmas in 2007.
Allan: "I don't know. My memory is not very good. Ummm...knee surgery?! (he's so strange!) Nintendo!

The night I got Lucky!

What's your favorite Christmas movie?
Suz: White Christmas and one that came on CBS in 1988 (we recorded it on VHS and I still have it!)
Allan: A Christmas Story

What's on your list for Santa this year?
Suz: Nothing at all, seriously. I have everything I need and more than I ever could want. Unfortunately this makes birthday and Christmas shopping very difficult for me (right Mom and Slick?!) so I came up with a few things when they pressured me.
Allan: a PSV (Play Station Vita)

Do you send Christmas cards, a Christmas letter, or neither?
We send Christmas cards and the ones this year had space on the back where we had a nice note printed.

What's your favorite Christmas treat (this can be candy, dessert, eggnog, etc.)?
Suz: NeeNee's pecan pie
Allan: Gingerbread cookies

Tuesday was a busy day for Santa's little elf. I wrapped, stuffed, cut, taped, and boxed until every last gift was wrapped and the last boxes were ready to go to the post office for shipping. Here's what the Auburn room looks like after I got done!

This is everything for both families, our friends, and my presents for Allan and the dogs!
I've really enjoyed reading all of your entries and hearing about your Christmases. The Q&A post is going to be interesting. The questions are all above the place and I love it!

Thank you all so much for reading our blog! If you know me in real life then you know I love to give gifts and that's why I love to host giveaways. So far everything we have given away we purchased ourselves thinking of you all. We love our little blog and the blogger friends I've made because of it! You guys are all so supportive and caring!

  8. I love Lucky! So cute!

I'm glad you are done Christmas shopping, it is such a relief to get it done early! I try to avoid the mall at all costs this time of year. I don't do well in big crowds, not sure how I'm going to handle Rock 'n' Roll Chicago, oh well!

  12. Sorry I am flooding your inbox by stalking your blog, but, to be fair, you made me feel like a failure by accomplishing my life goal of shopping year round. Maybe 2012 will be my year. I need you to inspire me. Allan's answers sound extremely similar to what my husband's would be if I asked him questions like that.
